Content, guidance and imagery
The service pages and Kitchen Guides on this site are general editorial guidance about materials, layouts, cabinetry and the renovation sequence. They are written to help you describe what you want and ask better questions — not to specify a particular room. Surfaces behave differently by brand, thickness, finish, edge detail and how they are installed, and no article can account for the walls, services and floor levels in your house.
Decisions for a specific kitchen should be confirmed during the consultation, measure and design stages of the twelve-stage process, and against the manufacturer’s current documentation for whatever product is selected. Where a page discusses standards, warranties or product care, the supplier’s own literature prevails.
Photographs are reference imagery, selected and licensed to illustrate the surfaces, finishes and details discussed in the text around them. Unless a caption expressly states that an image shows completed work, it should not be read as a record of a particular renovation, a specific product, or a result that will be reproduced in your kitchen. Content on the site may be edited or removed at any time.
